If I Stay Written by: Gayle Forman Genres: Young Adult, Realistic Fiction, and Romance Rate: 10/10 A little bit about the book : Mia's family, which consists of her parents and her little brother, got into a tragic car crash and though Mia isn't dead, she isn't in her body either. She's able to walk around the hospital, watch her loved ones, and hear them talk to each other and her. Through out the story we get flashbacks of what her life was like and who was the most important people to her. Her maturity shines through her thoughts and how people view her. The fact she is so mature helps add to the real wonder of the story. When she realizes she is the one who gets to choose if she stays or if she goes, she doesn't know what to choose until someone helps her. My opinion about the book : I really loved this book. It is a romance but that's not entirely it's main focus. At this point in my life this was the type of story I really needed. I ap
