About the book: Melinda has had a very bad year, it started going down hill at a party her and her friends attended. Something happened to her that night that she is too afraid to share with anyone else. She called the cops on the party and now everyone hates her for it, all her friends and even her very best friend. She becomes quite and doesn't talk to very many people and her parents don't help because when she gets home they are fighting anyways. Will she end up telling anyone what really happened? What will happened if they find out?
Why I liked the book: I found a lot of text-to-self all through out this book and connected a lot with the main character. I liked the symbolism for her art project she has to make for class. There was a strong female lead and not too many main characters to keep track of due to her lack of friends.
